What to Do if we have a Power Outage

We inform customers about planned power outages.  For unplanned power outages, power restoration times will vary as we diligently work to find the cause of the problem and make the necessary repairs.

During unplanned power outages, if you have an emergency, please call 911 and report your emergency immediately.  Please refrain from calling the Electric Department for your emergency situation because we may lose precious time calling 911 to help you.

Please read on:

  4. Items to keep on hand for a power outage are: medical supplies, a battery powered radio or a hand crank radio, battery powered alarm clock, flashlights and extra batteries, cell phone.
