4:30 pm - The remaining outages include a small number of houses on State St. and the inner circle at Lakeview Circle. The expectation is that power will be restored to the State St./Elizabeth St. area by 6:30 pm. Lakeview Circle is expected to be restored by 8:00 pm. While they are still out there working, the Village wants to thank our staff and contractor along with National Grid and NYSEG for the incredible amount of work that was done to restore power today. Thank you also to our Village residents for their patience.

10:48 am - Most of the Village feeder lines are back up and are receiving power. National Grid & NYSEG crews are working to bring up lines for the remainder of the Village. The area of Jordan, State, and neighboring streets are still out, along with the West side of the Village. We do not have a restoration time currently but will continue to provide updates until all power has been restored.

9:30 am - National Grid and NYSEG are still out looking for the fault in the system that feeds the Village's power. Once power is restored to the Village from the electric company we will be able to assess if we have any internal issues in our system. There isn't an estimated time for restoration at this point. We will continue to provide updates through the Village website, Facebook, and if you haven't already, this is an opportunity to sign up for the new alert system: MyLS. Instructions are attached to this post as a PDF.

Power is out to the entire Village. DMO Posella said that we do not have power to our substation. Once power is restored from our NYS electric company we will begin to assess if we have any internal issues in our system.
