The Village of Skaneateles is seeking applicants for the position of Codes Department Clerk for up to 20 hours each week. The Codes Clerk will support the daily activities of the Village’s very busy Codes Department. Duties will include regular communication with residents and other constituents to assist them with property changes, assisting with the management of the application process, record-keeping as required by regulations and policy, maintaining the Codes page on the web site, and more.

Applicants will be customer-facing and must provide excellent customer service in person and on the phone. Comfort with technology is a must. Educational background or experience in Codes, and/or a college degree is preferred. Salary commensurate with experience.
