Brush and Leaf Pick-up

As you may have noticed our DPW crew has been hard at work collecting leaves throughout the Village. Leaf pick-up began on October 24th and will continue to run through November, weather permitting. If there is an accumulation of snow during this time, pick-up will cease to allow our crew to do necessary  snow removal. Please make sure that all leaves are free of any brush and debris as the leaf vacuum is not able to pick these items up, and they could potentially damage the vacuum. 

Fall brush pick-up ended as of October 17th. If you have any brush to be removed, there are a few options:

• Brush can go to the Town Transfer Station located at 1676 Old Seneca Turnpike. To purchase a permit for the transfer station please visit www.townofskaneateles.com or call (315) 685-3473 for more information. 
• Brush can be placed in your back lawn to await Spring brush pick-up; dates TBD. 
• You may hire a private contractor to remove and dispose of your brush.
