The Skaneateles Police Department wants to remind residents to be vigilant and report suspicious activity. There have been reports recently of a subject on a bicycle looking inside of cars at the apartments on Kane Avenue and a suspicious person on a bike on West Lake Street.
Additionally, Onondaga County in general is seeing a significant increase in stolen vehicles and break-ins to commercial establishments, some as close as Elbridge.
Kindly ensure that your vehicles are locked, and all keys or fobs are removed. Contact 911 to report any suspicious activity or speak with an officer by contacting the Skaneateles Police Department during normal business hours at (315) 685-3819.
