The Skaneateles Police Department received complaints in the Lakeview Circle neighborhood of unlocked cars that were entered overnight.  The vehicles were rummaged through, and owners are taking inventory to see if anything is missing. 

Residents are reminded to secure their vehicles and to ensure that valuables are not visible.

Anyone with information should contact the Skaneateles Police Department or call 911 if they experienced a similar incident
